New LOGBOOKS available!

v1.0.1.a WizKids Logbook
S` All,

Looks like we've been taking off with BOTH the PC and WizKids versions of Crimson Skies!  It's great to see the longevity that this game has.

Anyways, the logbook for WizKids is only one time use and the PC version is multiple use.  In other words, the Wizkids version must be used every time a pilot hits the skies, where as the PC version can be used multiple times.

The logbooks were created with the idea of keeping records of events.  Just as the original pilots in WWII, logbooks were an essential part of the daily duties.

If you have any additional ideas or there's something that's missing that you'd like to see, let us know.  S` Out

UPDATE: NEWEST Modified Turn Order for Wizkids Crimson Skies!

S` All,

After some discussion on Discord last night, (we figured out that the entire 10 segment turn is about 1/2 second in actual time. (In other words, after completing the 10 segment move/turn, only 1/2 second will have passed in game.)  So with that discovery, we determined that there should only be ONE (1) attack allowed per turn [per gun position (ie. once for FWD guns and once for AFT/REAR guns)].

The newest Modified Turn Order is as follows (items in RED are the the latest revised updates)...
  • Turn Order Roll for Initiative (winner is "Aggressor").
  • Set speeds for ALL planes.
  • Reveal speeds and engine check.
  • Choose navigation cards for ALL planes.
  • Reveal maneuvers for ALL planes.
  • Start move segments, counting down from TEN (10).
  • Add one (1) move marker for each active plane on that segment and move plane onto new marker.
  • Resolve collisions (if any).
  • Declare attacks starting with Aggressor.  Active planes FIRE FIRST, inactive planes fire last. Each plane may fire only ONCE per TURN; and only ONCE per gun position per turn (ie. FORWARD guns 1X, REAR guns 1X for a total of 2 attacks per turn).
  • Add/Subtract modifiers and roll for attack.
  • Defender clicks for damage taken & a token is added to attacker; Maximum 2 tokens to show amount of attacks taken (1 for FORWARD guns, 1 for REAR guns).
  • After ALL attacks resolved for that segment, continue to next move segment (counting downwards) and continue until next turn.
